Receive
One of the main ways you can support me is by setting up a receiver when I do launch and you are within the area of Münster, Germany.
A receiver can be set up using a TTGO LoRa board and the custom firmware available on Codeberg. You can flash it using Platform IO. Feel free to contact me if you need help with that!
All launches of the ReSonde will be announced in the ReSonde Telegram group!
Recover
Getting the ReSonde back once it has landed is another crucial part of the project so I can further analyze what went wrong with the flight.
As I can’t drive myself yet, I oftentimes rely on others to get the hardware back! Along with the launch announcement I will therefore also send a flight path prediction into the ReSonde Telegram group and various other radiosonde Telegram goups.
Open Source
The ReSonde software is currently partially open source, meaning you can test it for yourself, find issues and report them and code your own enhancements.
The rest of the project will be published in the next months as well, but I still need to clean up some files which will take a while.
